Snape's billowing robes Draco's sneer, smirk, and drawl Head Boy/Head Girl have own room Draco and Hermione are Head Boy/Girl Dumbledore's twinkling eyes Hermione's suddenly changed figure The overrating of the use of "Ferret" and "Mudblood" in one conversation

Hate the phrase "Hermione had curves in all the right places"
I HATE these: Draco or Harry being a veela, Mpreg (soooooo wrong!), dark past (Hermione coming from an abusive home and such)
I'm meh about: body switches
Guilty of loving: Snapes billowing robes, head boy/head girl have own room, D and HR are heads, Draco smirk
I also would like to add some that I'm guilty of loving: *tutoring sessions taking a hot and sexy turn *Dumbledore playing match maker *Marriage law *Snapes family being rich and successful (not true but I don't care, its fanon!) *2 people locked in a closet and falling in love

HATE: Snape or Hermione having hot bodies. Snape is scrawny and pale, and if you can't accept that and give him a hot one instead, you're not a true Snape fan. Same goes for Hermione. If you can't accept the way she's written, you're not a true fan. Don't give ugly characters a beautiful body, cause it's STUPID! I won't read a story that has that in it....it's queer. Yanno, a character doesn't have to be Hot to be loved! Grr! I hate when they turn characters like Draco or Snape into love muffins. You can't put them and Fluff in the same story, at least not excessive amounts of fluff. I hate these stories and I think the authors should be poisoned. But I don't mind some cliques. Things like exaggeration of the eyes, Dumbledore being a match maker (though sometimes it gets annoying.), Snape turning out to be Harry's dad(I've read some good ones), comafics, things like that. Don't mind 'em too much. But they HAVE to be well written, as any fic or clique should be

i just came across another fan fic cliche that i really hate (i was just reading some fan fic right now and i remembered how much i hate this). i think it usually comes up in like draco/ginny or draco/hermione stories when like one of the girls runs into draco or something and suddenly becomes aware of his hot quidditch toned body and then he says "see something you like?" in all my 20 1/2 years of life i have NEVER heard someone ACTUALLY say that. so that's why i find it annoying. i also think its annoying when people are conveniently like only half dressed when they run into eachother. for instance, hermione and one of the weasley brothers meet in the kitchen for a nighttime snack (you have no idea how many times i've read that little plot) and he's only wearing boxers and she's just wearing some slinky little nightgown. i just don't can't see hermione sleeping in some little nightgown anyways. but thats just an annoying cliche i thought of. sorry for the rambling, hehe.

OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS I hate that clique too. I will catch myself on fire if I ever find out that I've actually done that It's stupid! I hate dressing Hermione like a whore and I hate having them conveniently running into each other (sometimes and only sometimes does this actually make for a good scene). Especically, like you said, when they suddenly shed light onto his beautiful body. It's got to be the queerest thing ever and it makes me sick--Can't anyone find a better way to hook characters up anymore?
