Let's write DRACO/GINNY! Idea presented by: Ginevra Malfoy! Ship: Draco/Ginny During/Post Hogwarts: Post Hogwarts Plot line: Voldemort died, Harry died, lots of people died. Ginny, after losing most of her family, fled for some time to recover. After 10 years, she returns to the Wizarding world only to find another Dark Age taking place. Draco Malfoy has taken over in Voldemort's place and he's already feared more than any other Dark Lord has been. But Draco needs an heir, someone to continue his legacy. He wants a girl he thinks he can easily manipulate and control. He chooses Ginny Weasley. Will she join him in the end or does she run away again after finally having come back after all this time? Basically, Draco sees a Weasley he hasn't yet killed, but instead of killing her, he decides to spare her life and offer her a piece of the power. But, the catch is, she must bear his child. And they must be married. This isn't supposed to be a FLUFFY fic..nobody likes lots of fluff!(though some is allowed). Ginny will ofcourse refuse at first, but it is up to you the writers to determine what she decides to do in the END! Make this interesting! Also: If you are going to write murder/rape/sex/suicide/etc scenes, put a WARNING in your post! I know these topics strictly belong in the Adult Fanfic Section, but these are dark times, and I'll let it slide if you are not TOO grapic. The rest is up to you! Write away!

"Investigators all over the world are baffled by the abnormal amounts of disappearances and deaths happening. We will now go over to Tim who is interviewing the family members of Kimberly Hamilton, a girl who had disappeared just two days ago. Tim?" the news reporter on the screen said with a serious expression on his face.
"Thank you, Jake. I am here with Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton, parents of Kimberly. Mrs. Hamilton, so you were telling me that the last time you've seen Kimberly was two nights ago?" the news reporter named Tim interviewed.
"Yes," Mrs. Hamilton, her red eyes puffy and still sobbing as she answered. "I saw her...walk down the corner when...well...these dark...things appeared out of no where...swooped down to her and then they all disappeared."
The smile that was on Tim's face seemed to have frozen - he did not know what to say as this was something that unheard of and to the point of being labeled as hallucination.
The woman sitting in front of the TV set narrowed her eyes when she heard the phrase "dark things appeared out of no where."
That can't be. When she had left, she, including everyone around her, knew that, well, he was dead. It could not be them again.
The commercials started on the screen. Perhaps the people at the news station had demanded Tim to talk to Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton "keep hallucinations to themselves"? The woman grimaced. It had happened way to often. Whenever people knew about something that would never happen, they would call it hallucination.
But she knew better.
She reached for the remote control and turned the TV off. Ten years ago, she probably would've been in awe at the look of a remote control and TV. She is still Ginerva Weasley, but she is no longer the little girl, naive and fresh out of school.
Ten years ago, she had fled from the Wizarding World, a world where magic was seen as common and technology, strange. She had left after the shock of learning of the deaths of most of her beloved family members and the one and only Harry Potter. In the war against Voldemort and his Death Eaters, almost everyone was killed. Except for her. How she wished that she was one of the people who were killed.
No tears came out of her anymore. She had spent too many nights crying after their deaths. As many tears as she had, ten years were more than enough to use them up.
Her thoughts were brought back to the dark "things". The Death Eaters should have been killed. All of them. Except for the people who had turned back to the good side during the final battle against the Dark Lord and his followers. The importance of the secrets the particular Malfoy had brought over to the Order was unfathomable. Why Draco Malfoy had decided to turn over to the good side, Ginny had never understood and she did not really cared. But she was not ungrateful although she had never had the chance to express her thanks. Although Harry had died in the battle against Voldemort, it was with Draco's information that Harry could have conquered the former Tom Riddle, the person who had killed Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger earlier on.
But if those dark things were not the Death Eaters, Ginny could not figure out who they were...
* * * * *
A week later.
Ginny was reminded of the time when she was in her fifth year at Hogwarts as she walked down Diagon Alley. It was the first time she had walked down these streets since ten years ago but it was abnormally cold and deserted in this usually crowded street.
She passed the former Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes, now a shack that was left to rot on its own. She walked over and ran her hand over the frame of the door as the tears that seemed to have dried up streamed down her cheeks yet once again.
As she wiped her cheek with the back of her hand, a thought suddenly struck her. Fred was killed in the war but not George. If anything, the latter would have kept the store up even if it was for the memory of his twin brother. Something was definitely wrong. She turned around and eyed the passing people. A woman suddenly caught her sight and she quickly hurried to follow her down the street.
From behind her, Ginny could see her glancing nervously to both sides before lowering her head and pulling her shawl firmly around her head. Suddenly, the woman stopped in front of the Quidditch store. That was when Ginny hurried up and placed a hand on the woman's shoulder, causing her to gasp. The woman whirled around and when she saw Ginny, tears welled up her eyes after the initial shock.
"Ginny...you're...Ginny," the woman whispered. Ginny nodded.
"Lavendar," she whispered. Lavendar then pulled her over and hugged her with all her might.
"Oh my God," Lavendar wailed, although still keeping her voice low. "I can't believe I would live to see someone I know again."
"What happened, Lavendar? I thought Voldemort was killed," Ginny said as she patted Lavendar on the back. Lavendar then pulled back from Ginny with a hesitant look on her face.
"You don't know?" she asked.
"About what?" Ginny asked.
"About...about...well...about him," Lavendar whispered.
"Who?" Ginny asked.
"The Dark Lord, the one who had taken Voldemort's place," Lavendar said frantically. With the new Dark Lord, the days with Voldemort almost seemed like a blessing to the Wizarding World. Ginny looked stunned.
"Someone...someone took over Voldemort's place?" she stuttered. Lavendar grabbed her shawl into a tight knot as she glanced around them.
"You don't know. How could you not know?"
"I was living in Muggle London," Ginny explained.
"But you must've heard, the disappearances, the deaths?"
"Of course."
"You have no idea who was after this?" Lavendar asked. Ginny shook her head. "It's outrageous. I mean, I was in shock when he took Voldemort's place as well. I mean, he was on our side at the last battle." At this, something suddenly clicked in Ginny's mind.
"It can't be-"
"It is," Lavendar said grimly.
"No."
"It is. I swear it...I mean, I know it," Lavendar said as tears streamed down her face again.
"What's the matter, Lavendar?" Ginny asked as she grabbed Lavendar's arms.
"Ginny...he made me...all of us...the people who were not in his house...his slaves," Lavendar said as she cried into Ginny's shoulder. "The only reason I got to come out was because I showed no resistance when his followers captured my family and me."
"You're kidding," Ginny said as she shook her head. Lavendar shook her head as well. "You mean...You can't mean that the new Dark Lord is..."
"Don't make me say his name Ginny," Lavendar whispered as she sobbed. "You know how it was with Voldemort. The Dark Lord, he is more feared than...than Voldemort now."
"Is it..." Ginny stopped. She was afraid that who she had guessed was correct. But she wanted to know as well. She finally said, "Is it Draco Malfoy?"
Lavendar nodded as she broke into sobs yet once again.
